²⁶ He ^(A)strikes them like the wicked
^[a]In a public place,
²⁷ Because they ^(B)turned aside from following Him,
And ^(C)had no regard for any of His ways,
²⁸ So that they caused ^(D)the cry of the poor to come to Him,
And that He would ^(E)hear the cry of the afflicted—
